National Youth Justice Conference 2017
Now in its tenth year, this free to attend event gives practitioners the chance to hear about the latest youth justice research, share best practice and reflect on the views of young people who have experienced the youth and criminal justice system.
This year's theme will be 'Youth Justice: past, present and future'.
Keynote speakers include Jan-Erik Sandlie, Deputy Director General, Directorate of Norwegian Correctional Service; Karyn McCluskey, Chief Executive of Community Justice Scotland; and Early Years Research Scientist, Dr Suzanne Zeedyk. Criminal justice academics Professor Bill Whyte (Edinburgh University) and Tim Chapman (Ulster University) who both spoke at the very first conference, will present on what youth justice looks like, ten years on.
