Consultations and responses

Together submits responses to consultations by the Scottish and UK Governments, to UN treaty bodies including the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child and to the UN Universal Periodic Review. Together also submits written evidence to the Scottish Parliament.

In responding to proposed policies, laws, strategies and regulations, Together inputs a child rights perspective using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), its 17 General Comments and 3 Optional Protocols.

Responding to consultations provides an opportunity for Together to represent the views and experiences of our members and to make recommendations about how proposals can be improved to further children's rights as set forth in the UNCRC.

You can keep informed of upcoming consultations by subscribing to our fortnightly e-newsletter and in the News section of this website.
