The National Third sector GIRFEC project has produced two touchpoint guides for organisations to help preparations for three parts of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2015 which come into force in August 2016: Named Persons; the Child's Plan; and Wellbeing assessment.
The touchpoints
The Prevention touchpoint is for organisations delivering primary prevention work, and covers wellbeing and named person provisions.
The Support touchpoint is for organisations providing targeted support and funded by grants or commissioned to provide services and covers wellbeing, named person and child's plan provisions.
The touchpoints have been developed by the National Third Sector GIRFEC Project working in partnership with Children in Scotland, Glasgow Council for Voluntary Service, and the Health and Social Care Alliance. Questions, feedback and comments on the touchpoints are welcome, and should be sent to touchpoints@childreninscotland.org.uk
