Year of the Dad conference now online

The conference took place on February 12th 2016 at the University of Edinburgh. Year of the Dad have created a day of reflection, dialogue and stimulation for academics, policy-makers and practitioners.

The online tool allows you to catch up on missed sessions, download audio files of keynotes or conversation strands, as well as written summaries, slide presentations and posters.

Also, as part of Year of the Dad, the Violence Reduction Unit are hosting a conference on Thursday 28th April, 2016 in Dalmarnock, Glasgow. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss the difference great dads and positive role models can make, the key issues facing fathers and explore how to develop the involvement of dads and positive male role models at home and in the wider society.
