Scottish Government
An easy-read summary of statistics on poverty in Scotland. This has been developed jointly with the Scottish Government and Poverty Truth Commission (PTC) and includes the main statistical headlines alongside contributions from people with experience of living in poverty.
For the second year running, the Poverty Truth Commission has assisted Scottish Government in putting numbers into a real life context, asking people with experience of poverty to talk about what it's really like to live on not much money.
This booklet outlines what people have to say about the biggest poverty myths, the worst thing about living on a low income, and how to get out of poverty.
