SCRA has produced a new briefing sheet to help new and recently qualified social workers help prepare children and young people for Hearings.
The briefing sheet provides information about Pre-Hearing packs and visits, and also the information and materials that SCRA have available in the children, the young people and the parents/carers section of their website.
The new briefing sheet is in addition to the materials that SCRA already have made available for social workers, including the guide which was published last year.
SCRA's Participation Officer Jennifer Orren said:
"We are delighted to have developed this briefing sheet for Social Workers to help them support and prepare children and young people attending a Children's Hearing. This new resource is a great foundation and reference point for all of SCRA's services and information, and it's available for all workers involved in supporting children and young people in the Hearings System."
