This animated video aims to inform children’s understanding of age assessment procedures and how age assessments should be conducted to respect children’s human rights.
The video was created to support a common approach to conducting age assessments in Europe and to increase children’s awareness of their rights.
It seeks to ensure States across Europe conduct age assessments with informed consent, with children’s vulnerabilities, gender and cultural backgrounds accounted for.
Watch the video in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and soon it will be available in Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Tigrinya, Somali and Punjabi.
