A new round of the Youth Arts Open Fund, worth nearly £500,000, has been launched to support children and young people living in poverty or facing significant barriers to opportunity.
The fund aims to enhance learning, mental health, and development through arts and creativity, helping to build confidence and skills. Freelance artists and local organisations are encouraged to apply for funding to deliver high-quality and accessible arts activities, especially for those who have traditionally struggled to access such opportunities. Freelancers can apply for up to £8,000, while organisations can request up to £15,000 for projects lasting up to 12 months.
Deadline for applications is no later than 5pm on 5 September 2024.
