The 2024 16 Days of Activism Toolkit, developed by the National Violence Against Women Network, is now available for free download on the Improvement Service website.
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that starts on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
This toolkit offers various resources to support local campaigns across Scotland, aiming to maximise the impact of the campaign under the theme Imagine a Scotland without Violence Against Women and Girls.
The toolkit includes digital logos, graphics, animations with key statistics, and templates like a communications schedule and prompt cards. The webpage also hosts a national events calendar showcasing the extensive efforts underway across Scotland during the campaign. Event organisers can submit details to vaw@improvementservice.org.uk for inclusion in the calendar.
