New resource: Life Story in kinship care

Life Story is a method used to record the details about children’s history and personal development. It is a record of their life in words, pictures and photos made by the children with help from their Kinship Carer. This resource aims to support children to tell their story, help Kinship Carers form stronger bonds with the children they care for and help children feel safer and more secure.

Kinship Care Advice Service for Scotland (KCASS) and the Foundation for Families (FFF) project have developed some suggested ideas to help you think and start having important conversations with children about their life. They  have set out some details about the benefits, why it is important and some ideas of activities you could do with them.
