The Chief Health Professions Officer at the Scottish Government is currently working with Learning Directorate colleagues to support a partnership approach to enhancing access to therapy services for children and young people.

The guidance can be used as a self-evaluative tool on partnership working between education and allied health practitioners to improve outcomes for young people. It sets out the key features of positive practice in jointly delivering services.

This guidance, informed by engagement with practitioners and service users across the country, provides practice exemplars of delivery and an evidence base to promote partnership working as core business.
