In May 2012, Together and Children in Scotland joined forces to coordinate a working group on the forthcoming children's rights legislation. The purpose of the group is to look at lobbying and advocacy opportunities around the legislation and help to inform and coordinate activities.

The first meeting was held on Thursday 10th May, prior to the Scottish Government's announcement of the merging of the Rights of Children and Children's Services bill into a single integrated Children and Young People bill.
