The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has produced a practical guide for civil society on how to use what the UN says to get better implementation of human rights nationally.
The guide, called 'Practical Guide for civil society on how to follow up on United Nations human rights recommendations', was launched at an event in Geneva to which NGOs were invited to on Friday 29th November 2013.
The guide describes a range of methods and activities that civil society can use to promote the implementation of human rights, as well as how to participate in and best use UN procedures and practices.
