xE-learning resource – Children and young people’s healthcare rights

Children's Health Scotland (CHS) has produced a Children and Young People's (CYP) Healthcare Rights e-learning resource for practitioners in health and social care who work with children and young people.
CHS has aimed to use their knowledge and expertise as a rights-based organisation to develop this resource in order to help practitioners give further effect to UNCRC articles in their daily practice.
The resource aims to:
- promote greater understanding of the health rights and needs of children and young people (CYP) and families
- raise practitioners' awareness of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 (the Act) in relation to children and young people's health and wellbeing.
- assist practitioners pursue a rights-based approach in line with UNCRC principles.
The course should take you approximately 40 mins to complete.
