The Scottish Government has published statistics for 2017/18 on domestic abuse in Scotland. Figures reveal that the police recorded there were 243 victims and 116 young people accused of domestic abuse who were under 16-years-old in Scotland in 2017/18.
Police also recorded 2,118 victims aged 16 to 18 and 1,227 16-18 year olds accused of domestic abuse in Scotland in 2017-18.
