Respect for human rights is embodied in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. In this 10th anniversary year of the Charter, Director of EU Rights Agency, Michael O’Flaherty, calls for better use of this tool to uphold rights in courtrooms, parliaments, governments and EU institutions.
