The guide covers a wide variety of themes, including children’s rights, early and effective intervention, risk management, diversity, restorative justice, adversity and justice, mental health, and speech and language communication needs.

It is aimed at practitioners and managers who work with children and young people who offend or who are at risk of offending. It is also useful for academics, educators, and anyone else with an interest in child welfare, youth and criminal justice.

The guide is updated yearly to ensure all the information shared is relevant to Scottish Government’s recent commitments.
