The Dignity in School Hub is a free online resource for adults and children to find out more about children’s human rights, learn about the importance of human dignity and build rights-based practice in school.

The Hub draws from learning from partners St. Johns RC Primary School (Edinburgh) and Stoneywood Primary School (Aberdeen) to demonstrate how primary schools and early learning providers can take a children’s rights-based approach to education. The learning from this work has been developed into learning resources, case studies and child-led content for you to use and enjoy.

The Hub includes:

  • Learning Resources– toolkits, workshop plans and self-assessment tools to get you started on your journey towards rights-based practice.
  • ‘myDignity’- a space for children to share their drawings and thoughts on children’s human rights.
  • Our journey– a timeline of Children’s Parliament’s work with children to help you understand how Children’s Parliament develops its practice.
