The Military Liaison Group (Education) is a partnership that supports children from armed forces families, ensuring they face no disadvantage in their education. This includes families from the army, navy, RAF, as well as reservists and veterans.

Pupils from Raigmore Primary School in Inverness played a key role in developing these resources. They explain the Armed Forces Covenant in simple language, outlining what it means, how it provides support, and what families can expect. The resources link to UNCRC articles such as the right to education, right to information and right to have decisions made in their best interests.  The aim is to make this information accessible to everyone, ensuring military families have a smooth transition into Highland schools. The resources are now available online for everyone to explore.
