Adoption UK Scotland is an independent support service for the adoption and care experienced community across Scotland. We operate an information and support telephone and enquiry service and provide free resources via our website as well as running community connection groups, family events and hosting the #E project, our award winning youth service for care experienced children and young people. Our Psychology and Therapy Hub (PATH) team deliver therapeutic services for families, and we host the FASD Hub Scotland, delivering information, advice and support for anyone who may have been affected by prenatal alcohol exposure, with or without a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
We also deliver kinship services for kinship care families, including therapeutic support services, community and family events and facilitation of the Kinship Care Advice Service for Scotland (KCASS) run in partnership with AFKA Scotland, which provides free, confidential and impartial advice to kinship carers and practitioners supporting them via an advice line, website resources and training opportunities.
