xResearch Network on Children's Human Rights event

This event is organised by the Research Network and hosted by the Observatory of Children's Human Rights Scotland. The Research Network brings together research expertise, the lived experiences of children and young people, as well as insights from Scottish policy-makers, practitioners, and civil society.
The event will feature a lecture by Professor Simon Hoffman, Professor of Law at Swansea University and Co-Ordinator of the Welsh Observatory on Human Rights of Children. The lecture will be followed by a short Q&A session.
In the afternoon, they will have a panel on UNCRC implementation and accountability in light of the UNCRC Act coming into force, Confirmed panellists include representatives from the Children's Commissioner's office, Rosemary Agnew (Scottish Public Services Ombudsman), and a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament, with more speakers to be announced.
Due to high interest, in-person attendance is limited to one representative per organisation.
