xTackling Child poverty and the public debt crisis conference

Aberlour Children's Charity and the University of Glasgow's Centre for Public Policy are co-hosting a national conference during Debt Awareness Week to address child poverty through public debt reform.
Professor Morag Treanor, a leading expert in social policy and inequality from the University of Glasgow will deliver a keynote speech. Other key speakers include:
- Shirley-Anne Somerville, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice;
- Nicola Killean, Children & Young People's Commissioner Scotland;
- Professor Nicola McEwan, Director of the Centre for Public Policy;
- SallyAnn Kelly OBE, CEO of Aberlour Children's Charity.
The conference invites professionals from the third sector, public sector, and academia who are committed to tackling child poverty.
