AbilityNet have received funding to run a project to develop, deliver and promote a 'Quality and Assurance Standard' and online assessment tool, which will enable Education Institutions to evaluate and improve the accessibility of their documentation and internet provision for disabled children, young people and adults.
The organisation shall be running free online training workshops that focus on taking you through the online tool on their website - so that you have a basic knowledge to be able to look at and check your own documentation for accessibility and also looking at changing settings on the PC for individuals to make it more accessible to access written materials.

Tuesday 28th September 9.30am - 10.30am
Nursery/Early Years settings, Schools, Colleges, Local Authority Educational teams, UK Online Centres, Libraries, Public Access Centres, Universities, and other education settings, qualify to benefit from this project.
