The Trust awards educational grants to under 21 year olds who are in a situation of disadvantage and/or have additional support needs.

The grants have to be for educational purposes and are awarded both to individuals and to groups and organisations working with eligible young people. Grants are awarded primarily to individuals and groups in the Lothians but can also be awarded elsewhere in Scotland.

Grants have previously been awarded for dance; drama; sports classes; special equipment; educational trips/expenses; music/art therapy; and a wide range of other activities.

The next deadline for applications is 8 November 2010.
