xRoll out of Suggestion Boxes

Respect for the views of the child
SCRA is rolling out suggestion boxes in waiting rooms following a year-long pilot in Aberdeen and Inverness.
The colourful suggestion boxes allow children and young people (and their parents/carers) to post any ideas they have about how SCRA can improve their services/facilities/information material etc.
SCRA found from the pilot that some of the suggestions were only relevant to that location, while others were considered nationally by SCRA's Participation Group.
From the pilot, the suggestions have been focused on issues such as more age appropriate toys and reading materials.
In November SCRA is going to introduce the suggestion boxes in other waiting rooms.
The suggestion boxes will provide another simple way of getting feedback and this links in to one of their Service Standards 'Listening'.
