Booking is currently open for Together's 2013 State of Children's Rights seminar in Aberdeenshire.

The seminar in Aberdeenshire is the third in a series of seminars which Together have organised, with the previous two being held in Fife and Edinburgh on 16th and 17th May 2013.

The seminar will draw on the findings of Together's State of Children's Rights Report (2012), and will explore how progress can be made towards achieving the recommendations.

It will also offer an introduction to the Unite.d Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) reporting process with the opportunity to inform the Scottish Government's next report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Together's seminars are targeted at all professions working with or for children in the voluntary sector and in local and national governmental/statutory bodies.

Attendance will provide the opportunity to ensure that the issues faced by children and young people and of concern to those working with them are identified and raised at a local and national level.

The seminar is free of charge although an administration fee of £30 will be charged for delegates who do not attend and have not cancelled at last 10 days prior to the seminar.
