Community Food and Health (Scotland) Scheme invites applications

Community Food and Health (Scotland) has an annual development fund (previously known as the annual small grants scheme) open to groups and agencies in Scotland who would like to improve access to, and take up of, a healthy, varied and balanced diet.

Funding from £500 to £3000 is available.

The development fund is very popular; in 2012 around one in five applications were successful.

Dates for the development fund:

• Development fund closes - Friday 9th August 2013 at 5pm (they cannot accept late or faxed applications).
• Applicants will know if they have been successful by early October.
• Funding will be sent to successful applicants in October. (They must receive a reference and signed acceptance form before funding is sent out).
• Successful applicants should spend the money by September 2014.
