UNCRC Optional Protocols and General Comments, Optional protocol on a communications procedure
Child Rights Connect has launched a mini-site with resources and updates related to the Third Optional Protocol on a Communications Procedure (OPIC).
The Third Optional Protocol allows individuals to make a complaint to the UNCRC Committee if they believe their rights under the Convention have been violated.
The aim of the mini-site is to support better understanding about the Third Optional Protocol (amongst both adults and children), and gather resources for anyone working on the Third Optional Protocol (e.g. governments, NHRIs, parliamentarians, academics, and civil society, including children).
