Mikiko has been a longstanding friend and supporter of Together, joining Together to present the draft Children’s Rights Bill to John Swinney back in 2018 and celebrating the passage of the UNCRC Incorporation Bill earlier on this year!
Mikiko Otani is an international human rights lawyer based in Tokyo, practicing family law with focus on women’s and children’s rights.
Mikiko kindly filmed a video congratulating children and young people across Scotland for their continuous efforts to incorporate the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child into Scots law. Watch this video here.
