Together, along with other child rights NGOs, has signed up to the Child Rights Connect network’s joint statement in support of members’ work protecting child rights in Ukraine.

It has been seven months since the war broke out in Ukraine and every day children’s rights continue to be violated. In March, an Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine was set up by the Human Rights Council to investigate the armed conflict on the ground.

The joint statement was delivered at the Human Rights Council 51st session Interactive Dialogue with the Commission and the main priorities addressed include the reported removals of children to the Russian Federation and the concerns for the future returns from countries of reception for those children seeking refuge.
