UNICEF UK calls on all political parties to champion the rights of every child in Scotland by making the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child part of Scots law. This would make the Convention directly applicable in Scottish courts of law and help ensure that the duties the Convention places on wider society to protect children and support their development are better understood.

Scotland: a safe place for child traffickers?
