This event is a human rights capability-building conference hosted by the Improvement Service, NHS Education for Scotland, and COSLA. The event will bring together colleagues working across local government, health and social care, and the human rights sector. 

The conference will provide an opportunity to: 

• learn more about and share experiences of human rights in Scotland 

• explore opportunities and challenges for local human rights implementation 

• engage with colleagues across the public sector 

• hear from human rights defenders working to protect and promote human rights
