SCRA has launched a new framework which aims to give children and young people a greater say in the Hearings System and to help SCRA increase their engagement and improve their communication with children and young people. Part of this work is now well underway and SCRA is about to launch a series of new measures.
A key part of this work involves working with partners. SCRA have been working closely with Young Scot to ensure that help and advice about the Children's Hearings System is easily accessible to young people. The Young Scot website now includes a section on Children's Hearings.
There are also plans to include this information on 'Glow' - the national schools intranet for Scotland, which is accessible by every school pupil and teacher in Scotland. The information available for children and young people on SCRA's own website has also been updated.
