Consultation on National Framework for Child Protection Learning and Development in Scotland

Date: 21st May 2012
Category: Family Environment and Alternative Care, Education, Leisure and Cultural Activities, Disability, Basic Health and Welfare

The Framework describes those who are responsible for keeping children and young people safe. It establishes a set of competences and standards that everyone who has direct or indirect contact with children requires.

The aim is to ensure that all workers (paid and unpaid) have the knowledge and skills required to assess, manage and minimise risks faced by some of our most vulnerable children and young people.

The consultation will end on Tuesday 10 July 2012. Email your response to ChildProtection@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
