Eurochild consultation on participatory methods with children and young people

Date: 19th November 2012
Category: Respect for the views of the child

Eurochild has recently set up a reference group on participatory methods for the inclusion of all children, and in particular those with particular vulnerabilities.

The group aims to:

  • raise awareness amongst policy makers working at EU and national level on the advantages on children's participation and to provide information on how this can be done;
  • provide opportunities for exchanging information and practice between practitioners and support them in spreading their experiences.

This consultation aims to engaging Eurochild members and other interested organisations in a dialogue about child participation & what Eurochild can do to support the development of participatory methods with children & young people. The outcomes of this work will depend on the feed-back received.
