Equalities and Human Rights Committee (EHRiC)

On 29th September 2016, the Scottish Parliament formally agreed a new name and remit for the Equal Opportunities Committee. The Membership of the Committee remains unchanged.

The Committee is now called the Equalities and Human Rights Committee (EHRiC) as it has acquired responsibility for human rights as well as equalities.

The next meeting of EHRiC will be on Thursday 6th October 2016, and the agenda and papers for that meeting will be published on Monday 3rd October on the new webpage.

EHRiC is currently in the process of considering issues for its longer term work programme. A full work programme will be agreed and published in late October 2016.
