The Scottish Government has published a report that details progress that has been made on the action agreed at last year's Cabinet Meeting with children and young people from Scottish Youth Parliament and Children's Parliament.

Key areas of action that were identified in the Cabinet Meeting were:

  • Listening to children and young people's voices
  • Schools and teachers
  • Children and young people's rights
  • Health
  • The future of Scotland's relationship in Europe.

The report explains progress that has been made by Scottish Government in each of these areas since last year's meeting. This includes commitments featured in the 2017-18 Programme for Government such as undertaking an audit on how best to further implementation of the UNCRC and how children and young people's voices will be strengthened throughout the Year of Young People.

A young person-friendly version of the report has also been made available.
