CELCIS is inviting organisations and Local Authorities to complete their survey which aims to understand what can help parents when there is a possibility that a child may become ‘looked after’ (or taken into care) by the local authority.

In order to review Part 12 of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, the survey aims to gather views on how family support services can improve the situation for children and their parents at times of difficulty. This is because a new law was passed (the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 that meant families should get services to help them stay together.

The survey is expected to take 15-20 minutes.
