In 2018, Police Scotland launched its first dedicated Facebook page for young people along with re-designing its digital platforms to ensure information is available when needed.

At the heart of the design were the voices of young people from throughout Scotland and Police Scotland used their views to provide information to promote better life choices and help keep them safe. This year, Police Scotland is asking ‘Did we get this right?’

Police Scotland is looking for the voices of young people of Scotland and those who work with them to review these resources to ensure they have the appropriate material and platforms. This will ensure the police can improve communication methods and ensure information is available and relevant to a modern society in the new and ever-changing digital age.

You can access both platforms here:

A short survey is available via Survey Monkey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NQYGN5G to give your thoughts on these platforms.

This is open to young people aged up to 19 years old as well as parents, professionals, etc to provide general comments based on their experience. Please share with friends, family, neighbours – all those who will benefit from how the police communicate with young people and what information is available for them.

The survey is open until the 31st of March 2019 and the feedback will help shape future changes.
