Scottish Children's Reporter Association (SCRA) has launched a new suite of materials to provide information and support to children and young people on how to complain if they wish to.

SCRA’s Participation Officer, Jennifer Orren, explained: “We wanted to make the complaints process more understandable and accessible to children and young people. We also want to raise awareness among children and young people in the Hearings System to let them know that they can complain if they are unhappy with decisions made by us, the actions or behaviour of our staff, the time we have taken to deal with anything, or the buildings/facilities provided by SCRA. We hope this package of materials will help children and young people feel comfortable and confident about making a complaint to SCRA should they wish to.”
