“They don’t care about my life, or my children’s lives, all they want to do is get a headline.” - Family Member, Dundee.
The #NoAddressInThePress campaign was launched by Families Outside in November 2019, to change the law and stop private addresses being printed in the press. So far, the petition has received over 400 signatures in its first three months.
Families Outside spoke to Humza Yousaf MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Justice, and Mary Fee MSP, convener of the Cross-Party Group on Families Affected by Imprisonment, and Mary Fee has committed to raise a motion in Parliament.
- Sign the petition now.
