This webinar will explore children’s rights issues on the topic of disability, basic health and welfare in Scotland, which will inform our report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Based upon our examination of the UK’s progress implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the UN Committee will make recommendations and thereby influencing legislation and policy.

This webinar will take place online via Zoom and is open to both Together members and non-members. It will involve a presentation from Together and breakout groups discussions on the following topics:

• Learning disability led by SCLD
• Physical disability led by Family Fund and Inclusion Scotland
• Children in hospital led by Children's Health Scotland
• Mental health led by Youth Link Scotland and Barnardo's
• Child poverty led by CPAG Scotland
• Environmental health led by Environmental Rights Centre for Scotland
