Take part in the COVID-19 Family Life Study

This study explores the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on family life across cultures. Findings will be used to inform policies, programmes, and supports for families. Parents or carers of children under 18 years old are encouraged to participate.

The Covid-19 Family Life Study is led by Dr. Anis Ben Brik, associate professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University College of Public Policy in Qatar. The research team consists of an international team of academics and experts representing the United Nations, civil society organisations across the globe.

Survey input will help researchers:

  • Track mental health symptoms, causes, and risk factors in parents during the COVID-19 crisis.
  • Understand parents’ experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Identify parents’ needs for support services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Understand parents’ coping skills and mechanisms.

The findings will inform the design of policy and programs, and the delivery of support services for families.
