In October 2020, young people were invited to join a series of focus groups and respond to a survey on the impact COVID-19 is having on them. These activities were organised by the Scottish Youth Parliament, supported by YouthLink Scotland and Young Scot. The survey report and focus group findings are now available online.
The survey focused on the impact of the pandemic on education, relationships, employment, access to information, and life, including mental and physical health. It received over 6,000 responses.
The focus group engaged groups of young people who identify as BAME, disabled, care-experienced, carers and with experience of the criminal justice system. They involved around 40 young people.
