The new blog by Dr Katie Boyle, Associate Professor Int Human Rights Law at the University of Stirling, considers the human rights implications of reforms to judicial review.
The blog considers the UK Government’s plans to reform the system, noting also the review into the Human Rights Act.
Dr Boyle says: “Scotland is on the precipice of significant human rights reform…Reform to Judicial Review that impacts on the potential development of a renewed statutory framework in Scotland will undermine the efficacy of that reform.”
