If you work with a child or young person under the age of 25, please encourage them to share their thoughts and feelings on their rights and the needs of their community with Article 12 in Scotland. Responses will feed into the charity’s “Alternative Report” to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.

An Alternative Report is a way organisations can present evidence to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. This can include evidence on government policies and the state of children and young people’s rights in a particular country. These reports can be used to influence political, legislative and practical agendas.

Article 12 in Scotland wants to hear from young people about:

  1. What needs to change to uphold their rights and the needs of their community?
  2. How do young people want to see this change happen?

Please share and support young people to complete this survey.
