Guidance Note on child rights mainstreaming is being developed!

UN’s Secretary-General has tasked a core group of UN entities with developing his Guidance Note on Child Rights Mainstreaming for UN entities.

OHCHR, UNICEF, the Special Representative of the SG on violence Against Children and the Special Representative of the SG on Children in Armed Conflict make up the core group. The core group is starting discussions to define the timeframe and details of the process. There is also general agreement that broad consultations with all relevant stakeholders, including children and civil society will take place.

Child Rights Connect will share more information soon, once they hear more from the core group.
