xInquiry into female participation in sport and physical activity
Date: 10th November 2022
Category:
Education, Leisure and Cultural Activities
Closing Date: 9th December
The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee is undertaking an inquiry into female participation in sport and physical activity in Scotland. This inquiry is partly informed by the Committee’s previous inquiry into the health and wellbeing of children and young people, which found that the participation of girls in sport and physical activity significantly declines as they reach adolescence. The purpose of the inquiry is to learn about any challenges faced by female participants in sport and physical activity, and to explore how those challenges might be overcome.
