A new report titled Young Visionaries reveals how children and young people see the future of education, health, work, privacy, security, technology, and the environment. The report is based on the work of 12 Youth Foresight Fellows who gathered ideas from over 800 young people through more than 50 workshops in 12 countries.

Using tools in foresight and children’s rights, the Fellows led projects to explore what young people hope for—and worry about—over the next 10 to 25 years. The report shows what young people believe will influence their lives in the future, including their recommendations to address challenges and seize new opportunities.

The project shows how powerful it can be when young people are given support and a platform to share their views on issues that matter to them. The report was launched just before the Summit of the Future, with over 465 people from 75 countries in attendance. Guest speakers included UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs Felipe Paullier and other international leaders.
