General measures of implementation
The Australian Centre for Child Rights has been launched to promote and protect the rights of children across the country. Led by 54 Reasons, part of the Save the Children Australia Group, the Centre will serve as a hub for sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices on child rights. It aims to inspire positive change by working with other leading organisations and creating a strong child rights community in Australia.
The centre’s website provides access to the latest research and tools for improving child rights. It also provides guidance on best practices in child participation and opportunities for collaboration and learning. The Centre’s Director said:
“The Australian Centre for Child Rights is built on the belief that when we prioritise children's rights, we’re investing in a better world for everyone. Our alliance is committed to ensuring that every child in Australia is heard, respected, and empowered, shaping a society where children are active participants whose best interests always come first."
